About Flat Stacks
Flat Stacks are collapsible, stackable, airtight, microwaveable, colour-coded silicone food storage containers that will declutter your kitchen and turn it into an organised, stress-free heaven leaving you feeling calm and freeing up more of your time and money to spend on the things you love.
Flat Stacks is a family owned and operated business consisting of a mother and son team. Flat Stacks were created by Julie, mother of 3 turned entrepreneur and her son Liam works with her. Julie takes care of product development, improvements and quality control while Liam is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business.
Flat Stacks bases are made of silicone, not plastic. Silicone is a strong, flexible and durable material that can withstand extreme heat and cold without bending or cracking so it's very long-lasting. Unlike plastic containers, Flat Stacks will last you many years so you won't need to replace them saving you money and helping the environment. Silicone is also BPA free which means it's non-toxic and safe for you and your family. The Flat Stacks lids are made of a BPA free plastic.
Yes. Flat Stacks are microwave-, dishwasher-, and freezer-safe however we recommend washing the lids by hand as they will last longer and won't lose their shape.
No. The Original Flat Stackscannot be used in the oven because they are not designed for high temperatures, and they have a plastic component underneath the lid to keep the container rigid and this would melt in the oven.
However, The Ovenware Flat Stacks can be used in the oven, air fryer, microwave, BBQ plate (not on open flames). You can tell the difference because the Ovenware is navy blue in colour, and comes with a soft, silicone lid; whereas the Original Flat Stacks come in various colours and have hard lids.

The Original Flat Stacks Containers come in different colours, have matching colour-coded hard lids. They may be used in the microwave and are dishwasher-safe. They CANNOT be used in the oven.

BPA is an industrial chemical, often used in plastic consumer goods like water bottles and containers. Some studies have linked it to various illnesses. BPA Free means BPA hasn’t been used in the production of the container, and so is totally safe for your family to use.
Yes you can put soft foods and liquids like soups in your Flat Stacks however you do need to be careful not to put too much weight on the container as it could cause it to collapse and squash the food or liquid inside. Be especially careful if you're transporting liquids or squash-able foods in a backpack or bag not to put too much weight or pressure on the container as it could force the valve seal on top to push up and then it could leak.

payments, delivery, returns & warranty
Our store is powered by Shopify, one of the largest ecommerce platforms in the world with over 600,000 stores. Shopify handle all our payments and data security meaning your data is as safe as it can possibly be (we don't even have access to your credit card information).
Through our Shopify checkout you can pay by Paypal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express and you can checkout extra fast if you have Apple, Google or Shopify Pay as these options store your payment information and import it automatically save you having to type out all your details.
We offer free delivery with tracking in Australia for orders over $99 and orders under $99 are only $9.95. You also have the option of express delivery for an extra charge which will be presented in the checkout. All our orders are sent out within 1-2 business day of receiving your order and standard deliveries normally take 4-10 days and express deliveries 1-4 days. All parcels are sent with tracking and you will receive updates via email and you can choose to also receive them via Facebook Messenger or SMS.
We don't currently ship outside Australia but we are working on this at the moment.
At Flat Stacks we really stand behind our product, we're a family business and we love the Flat Stacks and use them every day and we believe that you will love them as much as we do. However, if you're unhappy with your Flat Stacks for any reason you can return them within 30 days for a full refund.

I really love this Flatstack offer. I think it’s a great starter pack and have bought several as Christmas presents for my family. I use my containers all the time. They are fantastic and I have reduced all the clutter in my container drawer.
I bought the 2L owenware to take away on a 6 week holiday where we were staying in a combination of hotels with kitchen/kitchenettes and airbnbs. While I would love to have eaten out for 3 meals a day I knew this would be unlikely so packed this baby to cook on the road as required. It’s been fantastic. You can do a one pot meal, mix and bake a cake, do absolutely anything. I love that it has a lid too so you can use it in the oven or even afterwards to store your food in the fridge. This is an absolute must have. I’ll be buying more!!
